About This Opportunity

The Kevin Strain International Entrance Scholarship is an entrance award valued at $15,000 over two academic years, awarded annually to an international undergraduate student entering Year One of any program in the School of Accounting and Finance at the University of Waterloo. This scholarship recognizes academic excellence among international students studying on an international study visa. Recipients must maintain a minimum 80% admission average to be eligible for the award. The scholarship is distributed as $3,750 per term from 1A to 2B, provided the student continues to study on an international visa. This fund was made possible through a generous donation from alumnus Kevin Strain, who completed his Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree in 1990.
