About this opportunity
The KFC Foundation Scholarship provides financial support to KFC restaurant employees in the United States to pursue higher education. The scholarship awards range from $5,000 to $20,000 to attend two- or four-year colleges, trade schools, or graduate schools for the 2025-2026 academic year. Applicants must be employed at participating KFC restaurants, have graduated from high school or earned a GED, and meet specific GPA requirements depending on the scholarship level. The program includes the Janet L. Kuhn Scholarship which doubles award amounts for select recipients, and a GED Graduate Scholarship Guarantee that ensures KFC Foundation GED graduates who meet requirements receive at least $5,000. Recipients are selected through a competitive essay-based review process by a panel of judges. The scholarship remains valid even if the recipient leaves KFC employment after receiving the award, and students are not required to repay tuition if they withdraw from school.
