Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation Scholarship

The Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students majoring in the Department of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at Eastern Illinois University. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate sincere interest and dedication to their chosen career field within kinesiology, sport, and recreation disciplines. Applicants must submit a written statement describing their career ambitions, which will be reviewed by the selection committee. The scholarship requires a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a faculty recommendation from within the department. Financial need is not a requirement for this award. The scholarship amount varies and is paid in the Fall semester. Recipients must be enrolled as undergraduate students and meet all specified academic and application criteria to be considered for this departmental scholarship.
