Kingsley Community Fund

The Kingsley Community Fund provides grants to organisations that provide facilities or services for people in the parish of Kingsley in Staffordshire Moorlands, with a strong preference towards children and young people. The fund aims to enhance service provision and help make organisations more efficient, improve the scope of their provision, or provide facilities to the local community. There are two tiers of funding available: grants up to £1,000 can be applied for directly, while grants up to £40,000 require prior discussion with The Community Foundation. The fund prefers to support capital projects such as work on buildings and equipment, rather than revenue expenses and running costs, unless the project involves an extension to a pre-existing service. For larger projects, applicants must provide business plans, community consultation documents, architectural plans if applicable, and evidence that the project could be successful. The fund requires that any grant received represents at least 33% of the overall project value, and for larger projects, applicants must show evidence of securing other necessary funding before funds are released.
