About This Opportunity
The Klassik Stiftung Weimar supports outstanding scientific, essayistic and art projects through a fellowship programme with 3 funding lines. As residency scholarships, they offer a sojourn of several months in Weimar, a city rich in cultural heritage. The programme includes: Weimar Fellowships for graduates, post-doctoral researchers and habilitated scientists who wish to use the Weimar collections for research work in institutions like the Goethe and Schiller Archive, the Duchess Anna Amalia Library and museums; Nietzsche Fellowships enabling a 2-month stay in Weimar to promote philosophical, scientific or essayistic projects with reference to Nietzsche's philosophy; and Bauhaus Fellowships for artists and cultural sector professionals whose projects have reference to Weimar and/or current matters, with visibility in the public realm through exhibitions, events or interventions. Fellows receive a monthly grant of 1,500 EUR plus accommodation either in guest rooms or through a 500 EUR monthly flat-rate allowance.
