About This Opportunity

Knight-Hennessy Scholars is a prestigious multidisciplinary, multicultural graduate scholarship program at Stanford University. Each Knight-Hennessy Scholar receives up to three years of financial support to pursue graduate studies at Stanford while engaging in experiences that prepare scholars to be visionary, courageous, and collaborative leaders who address complex challenges facing the world. The program seeks scholars who demonstrate independence of thought, purposeful leadership, and a civic mindset. Scholars are expected to be visionary thinkers who are curious, open-minded, analytical, eager for cross-cultural perspective, and genuinely excited to boldly address important global challenges. The program prepares graduates for leadership roles in academia, industry, government, nonprofits, and the community at large. A new cohort of scholars joins each year, adding to a diverse community from across disciplines, nationalities, perspectives, and backgrounds. Scholars can enroll in graduate degree programs at any of Stanford's seven schools, including Business, Education, Engineering, Humanities and Sciences, Law, Medicine, and Sustainability.
