Knockie Fund

The Knockie Fund is a small independent fund established in the 18th century for the relief of hardship and distress in the Stratherrick and Foyers area of Scotland. In its current form, the fund primarily distributes Christmas vouchers to senior citizens over 65 who have lived in the area for four years or more. On occasion, there may be surplus funds available to meet other cases of real hardship within the community.
