Kommunal garanti

Alta Kommune offers municipal loan guarantees to organizations building facilities for sports and physical activities. This guarantee can be used for interim financing of grants from the Norwegian gaming/lottery funds (spillemidler). The guarantee helps loan applicants secure favorable loan terms during the period between applying for and receiving approval for gaming funds, which can take up to 4 years. Organizations can apply for municipal guarantees once their application for gaming funds has been approved by the county authority. The program provides financial security for sports facility development projects in Alta municipality.
