About this opportunity

This grant program supports municipalities in establishing and developing municipal health promotion, learning, and coping services. The program aims to stimulate development of municipal health and care services that support the goals of health reform and non-communicable disease (NCD) strategies. These services promote health and quality of life, prevent disease, enable early intervention, and help users learn to cope with illness. The target group is people at increased risk for or who have developed complex health problems and chronic diseases. Agder County Council administers this grant program on behalf of the Norwegian Directorate of Health. Note: This grant program has been discontinued as of the 2026 state budget, with funds being transferred to municipal budgets instead. For 2025, only reporting of previously allocated funds remains.
