Kommunalt Næringsfond

Alstahaug kommune offers a municipal business fund (Næringsfond) to support local business development and economic growth. The fund provides grants for business development initiatives, investments in businesses, project work including development initiatives and consulting assistance, and basic infrastructure investments. Business development support includes activities such as product development, market research, competency building, trial production/sales, and network establishment. Investment grants are provided for facilities and equipment of a permanent nature and are generally not given for operating expenses or easily tradable equipment. Project work and basic infrastructure investments are projects expected to be operated under municipal management.
