Kommuner som mottar lege i spesialisering del 1 (LIS1)

This grant program supports Norwegian municipalities that host doctors in specialist training part 1 (LIS1). The goal is to provide good health and care services to the population by facilitating specialist training for doctors. The grant scheme aims to compensate municipalities' expenses for facilitating the practical service component for doctors in specialist training part 1, and to create predictability for municipalities that employ LIS1 doctors. The target group is doctors in specialist training part 1 for the benefit of the population needing health services. The grant includes both supervision subsidies and salary subsidies for municipalities hosting these medical trainees.
