Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Original Source

About This Opportunity

Every year the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung awards scholarships to international students in degree courses or PhD programmes at higher education institutions in Germany. The scholarship programme is primarily aimed at international students and doctoral candidates from non-EU countries. Successful candidates are given the opportunity to complete a German higher education qualification, earn a doctorate or acquire additional knowledge in their academic fields. The foundation's goal is to help further the education and training of young academics, expecting them to shoulder responsibility for the state and society in their home countries after their return. The sponsorship amount and duration depend on the academic goals of the applicant. Students in Bachelor's and Master's programmes receive a monthly grant of 992 EUR for up to 2 years, while PhD students receive 1,400 EUR monthly for up to 3 years. Additional allowances are available for health insurance, long-term care insurance, and family support if applicable.
