Kontigentstøtte - ei tilskotsordning for idrettslag og andre frivillige organisasjonar

Fjaler kommune has established a grant program for sports clubs and other voluntary organizations to support children and youth participation. The program provides financial support to organizations to cover missing membership fee payments from members in the target group (children and youth) that may be due to economic difficulties. The purpose of the grant scheme is to serve as a tool for clubs and organizations to give children and young people the opportunity to participate and be included in important social arenas, such as leisure activities, regardless of their parents' income and social situation. It is a measure that aims to prevent and/or reduce the consequences of poverty. In 2023, a fund of NOK 20,000 was allocated for this purpose.
