About this opportunity

Kontingentkassa is a support fund for children and youth from low-income families in Alta municipality. The fund covers membership fees and participation costs necessary for participating in organized recreational activities that occur over time, such as membership fees, culture school fees, annual passes, and training fees. The municipality can cover part or all costs up to 4,180 NOK. The support is intended to ensure that all children, regardless of their parents' social and economic situation, have the opportunity to participate regularly in at least one organized leisure activity with others. Applications must be submitted by trainers, leisure leaders, teachers, or other adults around the child, not by the child or parents themselves. Funds are allocated directly to the activity organization, not to the child or family.
