Konung Gustaf VI Adolfs fond för svensk kultur

Stiftelsen Konung Gustaf VI Adolfs fond för svensk kultur ger anslag till svensk humanistisk forskning och kulturminnesvård. The foundation provides grants primarily for the printing of completed and peer-reviewed manuscripts in Swedish humanistic research, as well as preservation or restoration of culturally significant buildings or objects. The foundation was created through fundraising campaigns for King Gustaf VI Adolf's 70th, 80th, and 90th birthdays. In 2025, 10 million SEK was distributed among 186 applications out of 304 received. Awards typically do not exceed 60,000 SEK per project. The foundation does not support living expenses, travel, study scholarships, events, periodicals, doctoral dissertations (except specific image costs), or new construction.
