Kopmeier Family Scholarship

The Kopmeier family established this annual $2,000 scholarship to support one Freshwater Sciences graduate student with a water policy or human and ecosystem health focus. Students must have a completed and up-to-date Panther Scholarship Portal General Application and Awards Application to be considered for scholarships, typically between February and April each spring. Scholarships awarded in the spring apply to the following school year, meaning students graduating that same spring or summer are not eligible. For example, applications reviewed in the spring are for scholarships beginning in the fall, so students graduating in May or August are not eligible. The scholarship is offered through the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's School of Freshwater Sciences and is part of the UWM Foundation Scholarships program.
