Kristin Beedy Karner Memorial Scholarship

The Kristin Beedy Karner Memorial Scholarship is awarded to female students pursuing a declared major in Accounting at Eastern Illinois University. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 EIU GPA and completion of at least 30 credit hours at the institution. Recipients must demonstrate financial need and show commitment to community engagement through regular part-time employment or volunteer work. Applicants are required to compose a short essay describing their current and future goals, including plans for career and family. The scholarship is announced in the spring semester and awarded in the fall semester. Recipients may be eligible to reapply and receive the award again in subsequent years provided they continue to meet all eligibility criteria.
