This grant program supports local voluntary cultural life in Bærum municipality by stimulating and facilitating cultural development, creating well-being and positive identity through culture, enabling the voluntary cultural sector to promote diversity and inclusion, and contributing to good conditions for children and youth. The program offers multiple funding types including regular operational grants, membership support for members under 30 living in Bærum, extraordinary operational grants for special expenses, project and event grants, and establishment support for newly registered organizations. Eligible organizations must be registered in the Business Register with cultural purposes in music, dance, theater, visual arts, handicrafts, or traditional crafts, be registered in the Volunteer Register, have a postal address in Bærum, and be open to all. The program does not fund commercial activities, initiatives covered by other municipal support schemes, closed events, national cultural celebrations, events outside municipal borders, travel expenses, catering costs, or deficit coverage.
