Askvoll kommune (municipality) distributes annual grants for cultural activities to stimulate activities and events for residents of Askvoll municipality. The funding supports traditional cultural work such as theater, music, dance, and film, as well as children and youth work, sports, and other leisure activities. Voluntary organizations and individuals residing in the municipality can apply for support. The application deadline is May 1st annually, with 70% of the budget allocated in spring and the remaining 30% announced after summer for rolling applications. Priority is given to activities targeting children and young people, and activities that focus on community and inclusion.
