Kulturpris Bardu kommune

Kulturprisen for Bardu kommune is an annual cultural prize awarded by Bardu municipality to individuals, organizations, or institutions within Bardu kommune who have made exceptionally meritorious contributions to the municipality's cultural life, within the broad cultural concept. The prize aims to focus on volunteerism and its significance. The award consists of a gift certificate worth 10,000 NOK and a framed diploma. The prize is awarded by the municipality's committee for care and growth (utvalg for omsorg og oppvekst) and presented by the mayor at an appropriate occasion. The prize has been awarded since 1991, with 27 recipients to date. Nominations can be submitted by individuals, organizations, and institutions through an electronic form on the municipality's website, with a deadline of October 1st each year.
