Kulturprofilstipend

The Kulturprofilstipend (Cultural Profile Grant) is awarded annually by Oslo Municipality for a specific cultural policy focus area that changes each year. For 2026, the grant focuses on Oslo as an arena for performing arts, with particular emphasis on innovative projects aimed at children and youth. The grant is part of Oslo Municipality's scholarship program designed to ensure quality, innovation, research, accessibility and/or breadth within the arts and culture sector. The program aims to enrich the city's cultural life and benefit the municipality's residents. Artists and cultural workers residing in Oslo can apply for funding between 30,000 and 100,000 Norwegian kroner to carry out projects during the stipend year. Applications are evaluated based on project relevance to the annual focus area, quality, feasibility, and relevance to Oslo's population.
