Kulturstipendium

Östersunds kulturstipendium is awarded to professionally active artists in Östersund Municipality who demonstrate significant ability and promising potential in their creative artistic work. The scholarship provides financial support to enable working peace for innovative creation or further development within the artist's field. The scholarship is intended for artists working in visual arts and design, crafts, music, theater, dance, literature, film, or photography. Applicants must be resident or active in Östersund Municipality or have a special connection to the municipality. The scholarship totals 100,000 SEK and can be received for a maximum of two years. Recipients are expected to submit a report on how the scholarship was used after project completion. Students in high school or university programs are not eligible to apply.
