Kulturstipendium för unga

Olofströms kommun awards a cultural scholarship every other year to young cultural practitioners and cultural workers up to 30 years of age who wish to develop their talent within culture, such as art and handicrafts, music, photography, writing, and dance. The scholarship aims to highlight young cultural talents who want to pursue a career within the cultural field. The prize amount is 10,000 SEK. Applicants must apply themselves and submit a motivation for why they should receive the scholarship, preferably accompanied by work samples. While recipients do not need to be residents of Olofström, they must have some form of connection to the place. Decisions about the scholarship recipients are made by the culture and recreation committee during the autumn of the applicable year.
