Kystskogmidlar 2026

Kystskogmidlar (Coastal Forest Funds) is an annual funding program offered by the county municipalities in Agder, Rogaland, Vestland, Møre og Romsdal, Trøndelag, Nordland, Troms and Finnmark. The purpose of the coastal forest funds is to help solve the particular challenges of coastal forestry and further develop a business-oriented forestry in the coastal counties from Agder to and including Finnmark, including through infrastructure measures and competence development. The coastal forestry departments at the county municipalities receive annual coastal forest funds from the State Budget, negotiated through the Agricultural Agreement. The framework for this year is 6 million kroner. Projects must be inter-county joint initiatives that contribute to achieving the goals in the Coastal Forestry Report 2022.
