LA Shearer Bar None Undergraduate Leadership Award

The LA Shearer Bar None Undergraduate Leadership Award is an annual scholarship awarded to a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with satisfactory academic standing entering the fourth year of select Bachelor of Science degree programs in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta. Recipients are selected based on demonstrated leadership qualities through involvement in extracurricular and community activities. Preference is given to students with indicated financial need. The award is funded through an endowment established by Douglas and Barbara Shearer in memory of Leon Albert Shearer.
