About this opportunity
The Lambeth Wellbeing Fund is a small grants programme offered through a partnership between NHS Southeast London and the Public Health Directorate of Lambeth Council, involving Lambeth CCG's 'Project Smith' and Lambeth Together. The programme contributes to the Lambeth Health and Wellbeing Strategy and aims to improve health and wellbeing in local areas, reduce isolation, and increase community inclusion and cohesion among adults in the borough of Lambeth.
Funding is targeted towards community groups and individual residents with ideas and small projects that support adults with priority health outcomes, including managing one's own health and wellbeing, having systems in place to avoid crisis, and feeling part of a community. Projects should promote wellbeing through the 'Wheel of Wellbeing' framework encompassing being active, keeping learning, giving, connecting, taking notice, and caring.
Priority groups include people living with long-term health conditions, isolated elderly, carers, LGBTQ+ individuals, people of colour, refugees and asylum seekers, and men's health initiatives. Individual residents may apply with the support of a 'nurture organisation' to hold the funding. Applicant organisations must have an income of less than £100,000 per annum and be based in Lambeth.
