Landsbygdsbidrag

Landsbygdsbidrag is a grant program offered by Ystad Municipality to support cultural and recreational activities in rural areas. The grant aims to enable all residents to experience cultural and recreational life throughout Ystad Municipality by supporting associations that create events and development projects within culture and recreation that enrich rural areas. The program also provides financial support to associations that own community centers and are affiliated with national organizations, such as Bygdegårdarnas riksförbund or Folkets hus och parker. Priority is given to associations with children and youth activities. The grant covers two main areas: support for events and projects that broaden the cultural and recreational offerings in the municipality, and support for operational costs of community centers located in rural areas. For community centers, the grant covers up to 50% of approved costs, with a maximum of 60,000 SEK per year. The program emphasizes activities that are of public interest, not internal in nature, and must be accessible to all. Supported activities should be properly marketed to the public and include the municipality's logo in all promotional materials.
