Lane Capital Scholarship

The Lane Capital Scholarship was established in 2011 and is funded by Gary Lane. It provides financial assistance of $8,000 per year for up to five years to support New Zealand citizens or permanent residents enrolling full-time in the first year of an undergraduate degree. The scholarship is available for students pursuing studies in Architecture, Business and Economics, Education and Social Work, Engineering, Medical and Health Sciences, or Science at the University of Auckland. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist students who, because of financial hardship, may not otherwise be able to undertake a university degree. Up to ten scholarships are offered to help with living costs or tuition fees, supporting students throughout their first undergraduate degree provided they maintain satisfactory academic progress.
