About this opportunity
This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Lane Johnson's legacy by supporting students who desire to make a difference in mental health and suicide prevention. Lane was a kind and considerate youth with a loving family, many school friends, enjoyed sports, and a love of humor. This scholarship is to support someone with a passion to make a better world for others who need help meeting the challenges of today's situations and wish to make a lasting impact on mental health in the future. The scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors, undergraduate, or graduate students from Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan counties pursuing degrees in psychology, social work, counseling, or mental health related fields at Washington State schools. Special consideration is given to students affected by a history of cultural and economic inequities, with priority given to students already pursuing a degree in Mental Health.
