About This Opportunity

The Large Group Grant scheme is designed to assist charities and community groups (constituted and not-for-profit organisations with charitable aims) to undertake projects to improve the quality of life and life chances of residents within the Stratherrick and Foyers Community Council area. Grants over £25,000 are available under this program. The funding supports projects across multiple categories including Education and Lifelong Learning, Transport, Health and Wellbeing, Heritage and Culture, Environment, and Regeneration/Housing. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with four advertised grant deadlines throughout the year. The program is funded by community benefit money from renewable energy companies operating in the area, including several wind farms and hydroelectric schemes.
