Laurence Decore Award for Student Leadership

The Laurence Decore Award for Student Leadership was established in 1986 by Alberta Student Aid to recognize post-secondary students who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and leadership to fellow students and to their community. The award is designed to honor students who are actively engaged in student government, student societies, clubs, organizations, or non-profit community organizations. The scholarship provides $1,000 to eligible students who are enrolled full-time at a designated post-secondary institution in Alberta and have shown exceptional leadership qualities both within their institution and in the broader community.
