About this opportunity
The Laurie Hines Memorial Award is a nominated award presented to a full-time student enrolled in the NorQuest College Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program. This award recognizes students who have demonstrated significant improvement in English language skills while overcoming obstacles. The award values leadership qualities, attributes of good citizenship, helpfulness to classmates, courtesy, and hard work. Recipients are selected through a nomination process and will be notified by the NorQuest College Awards office after the Winter term concludes. Applicants must be a Landed Immigrant, Permanent Resident, or Canadian Citizen enrolled full-time in the LINC program.
