About this opportunity
The Laurie J. Loveland Memorial Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to students at North Dakota State University who have demonstrated leadership and service in support of women's community. Applicants must be properly enrolled at NDSU with junior class status or higher at the time of disbursement and have graduated from a high school in North Dakota, South Dakota, or Minnesota, with preference given to those whose graduating class was fewer than 100. Recipients must demonstrate experience in leadership and/or service in support of women's community and submit an essay on the topic 'Why I am a Feminist.' The scholarship is specifically for students in the College of Arts and Sciences, with a focus on Women and Gender Studies. Award recipients must successfully complete an oral interview conducted by the selection committee.
