Laurine Morrison - Edwardsville Chapter NSDAR Award

Scholarship support for Undergraduate or Graduate students currently enrolled at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to encourage and recognize scholarship work on a topic relating to the history of Madison County, Illinois. Applicants for the award must submit a summary/outline of research being conducted on an aspect of the history relating to Madison County, Illinois, or documentation and sample of scholarly work on Madison County history completed during the current academic year. Recipients shall be selected by a committee appointed by the Chair of the Department of Historical Studies and shall be based on items submitted to the committee for review. An award of at least $300 will be made to a single student or divided equally among students participating in a group project. The award will be included as a part of the annual honors day convocation or event of similar nature.
