About This Opportunity
The Laverne Lewis Bar None Undergraduate Leadership Award is given to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering or enrolled in the third year of the BSc Agriculture or BSc in Animal Health degree program at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected based on demonstrated leadership qualities through involvement in extracurricular and community activities. Preference is given to students from farming or ranching families. This award was endowed by Jack Lewis (BSc Ag 1957) and family in loving memory of Laverne Lewis. Students are eligible to receive only one Bar None Award or Scholarship in any given academic year.
