About this opportunity
The Lawrence A Mysak Award in Science is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second, third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta. The award focuses on students in the Department of Biological Sciences or Earth and Atmospheric Sciences who are studying Ocean, Atmospheric or Climate (including paleoclimate) Sciences. Selection is based on academic standing with preference given to students in the third year. If there are no suitable candidates, students in an Applied Mathematics degree, a Physics degree with special interests in fluid mechanics, or an Ecology degree may be considered. This endowed award is provided by Lawrence A Mysak and is administered by the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta.
