Layer-Rahal Family Award

The Layer-Rahal Family Award is a scholarship for students majoring in the Graduate School of Education at the University at Buffalo who did not obtain their undergraduate degree in education and who work part-time or full-time outside of their classwork. The student must also be a non-traditional student, with preference given to those who are from low-income backgrounds, are first-generation college students, are AmeriCorps alumni, or are veterans. This award supports working graduate students pursuing education degrees who are transitioning from other fields of study.
