LB Smillie Book Prize

The LB Smillie Book Prize is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Alberta. The selection is based on the highest academic standing in Biochemistry 420 or 520. This endowed award is funded by proceeds from the 7th International Conference on Aspartic Proteinases and administered through the Faculty of Science. Students are automatically considered for this prize based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship platform.
