LDC Fellowships

Leadership Development Centre (LDC) Fellowships are annually selected international research and study awards for mid to senior leaders in the New Zealand Public Service. The fellowships support high potential mid to senior leaders across the Public Service to identify system leadership challenges and opportunities, and undertake international research and study to address these. Each LDC Fellowship provides up to NZ$50,000 for travel, accommodation and/or development activities. The fellowships target both developing the individual recipient and building on the shared leadership knowledge of the system. Fellowships may include formal and/or practical experience, and/or research and study on leadership development. Priority is given to mid to senior leaders who have not had recent significant system investment.
