About This Opportunity

The LDE GMD Seed Fund provides funding for migration and diversity-related research, events and community projects that stimulate interdisciplinary collaboration and interuniversity engagement. The fund is available for individual academics or teams of academics looking for an opportunity to realise an innovative or creative idea related to governance of migration and/or diversity and social inequalities. The fund offers three streams: research fund for developing and supporting the start-up phase of interdisciplinary research projects, events fund for organizing symposia and research meetings, and community fund targeted at young scholars (Masters and PhD) who are organizing activities. All applications must include collaborative ambition with at least two individuals from Leiden, Delft or Erasmus University, demonstrate interdisciplinary teams, and relate thematically to the LDE GMD research agenda. The initiative aims to create outcomes that contribute to understanding governance of migration, diversity, and social inequalities through interuniversity collaboration.
