About this opportunity
The Leah Fetter Merit Scholarship is awarded annually to an undergraduate French major for study abroad in a French-speaking country. The scholarship provides $500 to support educational experiences abroad and is awarded based on academic achievement and financial need as demonstrated by the FAFSA. Students must be full-time undergraduate students majoring in French and must explain their study abroad plans in their scholarship application, including the name of the study abroad program to which they are applying. The scholarship is awarded in spring, and students can apply it toward a study abroad program during the summer or during the following academic year. This scholarship is specifically for Milwaukee-campus students planning to study at a program outside of Milwaukee and outside of the United States, not for international students coming to the Milwaukee campus.
