Leane Elson-Murray Memorial Scholarship

The Leane Elson-Murray Memorial Scholarship supports nursing students at Red Deer Polytechnic who demonstrate financial need. This scholarship is available to full-time students in their first, second, or third year of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program who plan to continue their studies in the subsequent year. The award recognizes the academic commitment of nursing students while helping to alleviate financial barriers to education. Preference is given to single mothers, reflecting a commitment to supporting students who may face additional challenges while pursuing their nursing education. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship upon completing their General Application through the Red Deer Polytechnic scholarship system.
