Lee Chan Chiou Entrance Scholarship in Physics

The Lee Chan Chiou Entrance Scholarship in Physics is an annual entrance scholarship valued at $10,000 awarded to a full-time undergraduate student entering Year One of any program in the Department of Physics and Astronomy in the Faculty of Science at the University of Waterloo. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence, with a minimum 90% admission average required. This fund was established through a generous donation from Richard Lee, Jenny Chiou, and Brenda Lee in honour of Mina Chan, with the specific purpose of supporting passionate physics students in their first year of undergraduate studies.
