Lee Cole Emerson Scholarship in Cosmology, Astronomy, and Physics

The Lee Cole Emerson Scholarship supports rising juniors, rising seniors, or graduate students in the Departments of Astronomy or Physics in the College of the Natural Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. This scholarship is designed to assist students with financial need and provide resources to continue their educational pursuits. Preference is given to socioeconomically disadvantaged students, who are disproportionately impacted by the lack of resources. Additional preference is given to students who are members of the UMass Amherst Association of Women in Science, which is open to all students regardless of gender identity.
