Leer/Tellier Scholarship

The Leer/Tellier Scholarship is offered to accounting students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee pursuing junior, senior, or graduate-level studies. This scholarship recognizes academic excellence in accounting and business coursework, requiring a 3.5 overall GPA and a grade of B or better in Intermediate Accounting. Graduate student applicants must have completed at least 50% of their degree credits. The scholarship is intended for full-time students who have completed at least 30 credits at UWM and demonstrates overall academic performance in accounting courses. Financial need may be considered as part of the selection process, and involvement in extracurricular activities is also taken into account. This award honors the memory of Roy H. Tellier Sr. and is supported by Jerry Leer through the UWM Foundation.
