Legacy Heating and Cooling Apprentice Entrance Bursary

The Legacy Heating and Cooling Apprentice Entrance Bursary is available to first-period students entering the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, Sheet Metal Worker, or Plumber apprenticeship program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). This bursary is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need. Apprentices must submit an application through the NAIT scholarship opportunities portal to be considered for this award. The bursary provides $1,000 CAD to support students at the entrance of their apprenticeship training, helping to reduce financial barriers for those pursuing skilled trades education in heating, cooling, and related mechanical systems.
