Legacy Scholarship

The Legacy Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for incoming freshmen at Eastern Illinois University who are children, stepchildren, or grandchildren of EIU graduates. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate enthusiastic and outstanding leadership through their involvement in extracurricular activities and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. This award is non-renewable and is given to students beginning their first semester at EIU in the fall. Selected recipients are chosen in the spring semester and the scholarship is paid in the fall semester. The scholarship amount varies.
