Legends of Gold Athletic Award

The Legends of Gold Athletic Award is provided annually to undergraduate or graduate students with satisfactory academic standing who are members of a Golden Bears or Pandas athletic team eligible for competition in the year in which the award is given. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing, requiring a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on at least 18 units of course weight taken during the previous academic year, and excellence in intercollegiate sport. Preference will be given to student athletes participating in track and field and cross-country. This award is funded through an endowment by the B&B Foundation, operating as Legends of Gold.
