About this opportunity
The Union 52 Benevolent Society established the CSU 52 Len Douziech Memorial Scholarship in memory of Len Douziech, who passed away in December 2019 while serving as a Union member, shop steward, Executive Trustee, and chair of the Members and Community Support Committee. As music was a great love of Len and his family, this scholarship provides financial support to students entering or enrolled in music-related programs at Canadian post-secondary institutions. The scholarship offers one $1,000 award per calendar year and will be available for ten years, from 2021 through the 2030/31 academic year. Applicants must be permanent residents of Alberta and accepted as undergraduate students in any music-related program leading to a diploma or degree at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
