About this opportunity
One scholarship, valued at up to $2,500, is awarded annually to an outstanding student entering first year of Planning at the University of Waterloo. This fund is made possible through the efforts of a dedicated group of Planners in appreciation of Len Gertler's contribution to the School of Planning, to the education he provided, and to Canadian planning. The scholarship recognizes academic performance and supports students pursuing undergraduate education in the field of urban and environmental planning.
This is an entrance scholarship, meaning it is awarded to students as they begin their undergraduate studies in the Planning program within the Faculty of Environment. No separate application is required, as students are automatically considered based on their admission application and academic performance. The award is administered by the Student Awards & Financial Aid office at the University of Waterloo.
